NEW EP: Psalms for Sinners

Half a year of writing, arranging, recording, mixing (not necessarily in that order) has finally led up to this. My new EP, Psalms for Sinners is finally up and running on all the usual services and of course here on my home page.

It all started in October 2016 when I finally decided that I wanted to really put some effort in to my music career. So I bought my self a new computer and some software and started to record. I also took a lot of online classes in recording and mixing and at the same time I took singing lessons and guitar classes to improve on different stuff at the same time. And I’m really glad to finally be able to share the full result of this process. Even though this is just a sub-target on my musical journey.

The list of people that I like to thank is large, but I really think it’s important to shout out to the people supporting you. First of all all my friends and family, most of all my lovely wife who, besides of being my biggest inspiration, has hold up with me spending a lot of time in studio.

When it comes to the recording and mixing part of it I really wanna thank my mixing mentor and engineer Brian Skeel and also Chris, both at Chris Graham Mastering. These guys are amazing to work with. Also got a lot of inspiration from Joe at HomeStudioCorner, Chris at TheRecordingRevolution and Rob at HomeStudioCenter.

Also wanna thank Ruben at Studio Ljudriket who recorded all the vocals and really pushed me to achieve the sound I was looking after. A true professional and if you looking for a producer in Stockholm I can really recommend him and his cosy little studio in Södermalm.

Speaking of vocals. If anyone heard my older recordings, I had a lot of development when it comes to singing. And that’s a lot thanks to my vocal coach Martina at Komplett Sångteknik-huset in Stockholm. Her lessons has been invaluable to make my vocals match my music.

I also had a lot of use of Eric Arceneaux and his YouTube classes at AAproach.com. Talking about YouTube classes, when it comes to guitar I have a lot to thank Erich Andreas at Your Guitar Sage for.

I had quite a lot of spins on internet and indie radio and really wanna thank for all the support from Radio Kaos Caribou, Music Matters, Somer Valley FM, The MikeCast, Ralph, LonelyOakRadio, Musolist, DrBones and Under The Pavement.

Also got some attention in blogs like: Ear to the ground, R*E*P*E*A*T Fanzine, Velvety, ForTheLoveOfBands, Petes Rock News And Views and Punk Sweden.

And last but definitively not least my friends at Atom Collector Records has been such a support and help. And the chat there is really addictive.

I hope I haven’t missed anyone, then just tell me. And once again I’m so grateful for all the help and support.
Keep it real.
