And it isn’t even over yet.
Yesterday was so amazing with the Facebook Live concert. I couldn’t even dream of having so many people joining me for half an hour a Friday evening. Big shout out to everyone and I will do it again soon and maybe then I will also try to play some electric guitar. We’ll see how it goes.
Also made videos for two of my songs to get some action going on my YouTube-channel.
Did some mixing on mine and TC Newmans cinematic version of Ode to a Friend and some fine adjustments and it’s gonna be live next week.
Before I get to tired I’m gonna share three songs I found in different places.
Joe Gilder is some kind of guru for me when it comes to recording and mixing and he’s also a good artist. He did a cool thing i February recording a whole EP in 28 days. My favorite of all the songs is the title track “Someone to Blame”. Great song with competent songwriting and nice production. And he’s also a really great guy and I will definitely by him a beer if he ever comes to Sweden.
Next up is The Fidgets who I found when they were played at #TheWelcomeShow on #RKC at the same show as they played “Ode to a Friend”. Sweet British indie reminding me a bit about early Primal Scream. Their single “Everywhere I go” is really pleasant to the ear and will surely make you in a better mood.
Last out today is Spencer and Sequoia from New York, US. They reached out on Twitter and I fell immediately for their soft jazzy sound. Their story is quite the romantic love story since they met true mutual friends, started making music together and then fell in love and are now married. But most of all they are really talented artists and song writers. “Best Thing” makes a smooth ending to this post.
Keep it real and keep making and listening to great music, me and my best studio buddy will.
