Live @ Southside Cavern

Finally after several years I got the courage to finally play my first gig ever. A week ago the great folks from Club Devolution and Rocket FM contacted me since they had an open spot on their show at Southside Cavern. Said and done I got the amazing honour to open the show and it went better than I ever would have imagine. An extra thanks to my lovely wife and my friends Petter and Malin for coming there to support me.

Besides playing myself I got to meet two other great bands and see them play live.

Planefield:

And some days before I got to see Pretty Solitude at the same venue.

So a truly amazing week. And I have even more news to share, but that’s for another post. But I feel it’s time for some recommendation:

Craig Pietropaolo and I got in contact on Twitter after being played together on the great South African station Zone Radio this morning. I checked his stuff up on Spotify and really liked the song “Secret”. Solid alternative rock with great production and great vocals.

Second is my friends in SPAWN. I waited a bit since I already featured them once on the blog. But now when summer is coming I couldn’t resist adding one more song from their great Ska-Punk album “Dance of the Lunatics”.

Next up is Cesium Swimsuit, the artist name of a great guy from Michigan, US, who blends post-rock guitars with electronic beats and he does it really well.

And to finish some Swedish folk pop from Brothers Among Wera. Their song Mammoth makes me really happy and also suits the current time of year perfectly.

Keep real and #KEEPOUTOFTHEMAINSTREAM
