A crazy week

It has been a truly crazy week, really busy but a hell lot of fun. First I had some days vacation spending time with friends and family and that was both needed and well timed.

Then back to Stockholm to continue the vacation and also blend in some fun stuff. Sunday I got the amazing honour to be apart of Big Blend Radio’s Champagne Sundays World Party. It was a great chat with hostess Nancy, Lisa and the American singer-songwriter Nicki Kris and also the great South African artist James Saunders. You can hear the entire hour with songs of the three of us here:

We also had great company from Sunday – Tuesday of my wife’s cousin and her husband who happen to be really good painters under the artist names of Shalak Attack and Bruno Smoky.

And since Bruno is also a really great rapper in Portuguese we decided to make a little collaboration. After some jamming we headed to my home studio and started recording. And I can’t wait to show you the result, but it’s gonna take a little while to get done

The day after we had even more fun hanging around in Stockholm shooting some footage for music video and just having a great time.

Tuesday was also really great as I went to record guitar and some other stuff for my new EP with Ruben at Studio Ljudriket. What better place to spend a warm summer day then in an even warmer studio.

And on Wednesday I was really happy to having my first interview since 2012 in Swedish Public Radio. And they also played “Your Dreams” and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks a lot to my sister for giving them the tip!

Also making my final preparation for my UK-tour that starts on Monday, flying to London on Sunday to meet up with Ivan Roberts from Riff Taff Music Networking. It’s gonna be so amazing, and I hope I get to meet as many people as possible.

And here’s the latest adds to #KEEPOUTOFTHEMAINSTREAM

Some really great synth pop/Electronica from GJART

I got in contact with Alicia from Fans Of Jimmy Century via the #MonsterThread-playlist and they are really good and I can really understand why they get to play regularly in Las Vegas with their groovy Nu-disco tunes.

Normally auto-tuned hip hop makes me quite skeptical. But the producer and artist Ladonsyl really uses the effect in a good manner and the reggae beat is great as well. Suits the summer time perfectly.

BetaPSI makes a cool kind of psychedelic indie rock and this song is really dreamy and atmospheric and I like it a lot. Reminds me a little bit of The Stone Roses.

This song from The Turtle Project was just released on Spotify. And since I had heard it before on SoundCloud I already reserved a spot for it. Great indie pop/folk with electronic elements.

And the last song, from Spaceschneider, is groovy, ambient and full of cool voice samples and I would say it has a hip hop-feel to it, but most of all it’s really good.

Keep it real!
