Looking forward – great things ahead

One week has passed since I came home from my UK-tour and I’m still amazed on how fun it was meeting all the great people and playing no less than 7 gigs in total. I was a bit of a wreck when I came home though, but enough complaining. Now it’s time to look forward.

This Friday I’m going back to record some stuff for my up coming EP together with Ruben and it’s gonna be super fun as always.

I also started a launching program with Steve from Music Launch Hub to evolve even more in growing my fan base and tribe of other artists. Also my project #MonsterThread helps a lot with that, and I’m amazed on how well it has turned out.

Haven’t been so active in media last week (since I’ve been doing a lot of other stuff) but I had some really cool features. First I got some songs in rotation on Strawberry Tongue Radio, a really cool internet radio station mixing unsigned music with more established independent music.

Also got air play on Channel Radio and the great show Saturday Selection with the really nice host Stuart. This Saturday he interviewed Dominick, a.k.a. Lemonade Kid and the interview was really interesting and Dominick were kind to talk a lot about #MonsterThread. Hopefully me and Stuart can find a slot for yours truly to talk a bit on the show.

And if I missed it, and I hope you have as well, and here are some fresh recommendation of some other great Independent music.

First, two songs from my friend and great singer Verity White. Her latest single, “I don’t care” and “Happiness”, an old song about recovering from mental illness that really got to me when she did it live in Brighton.

GJART and Betapsi has made a collaboration thanks to #MonsterThread, and that make’s me so happy and also quite proud that my movement has lead to new music being made. And since the song also is really good you need to check it out.

I had the honour to meet Darren from Leg Puppy in the UK. And as cool as he is in person as good is this song. I don’t dare put a label on it, so listen for your self.

I actually forgot how I found out about Serinette. I think maybe the singer reached out on Twitter. Nonetheless, this is a real indie pop/rock pearl and a really uplifting song.

Haven’t had so much time to spend on Atom Collector Records, but this amazing psychedelic rock tune from Aelita Red I stumbled over on one of my short visits.

That’s all for to day! Stay tuned in and #KEEPOUTOFTHEMAINSTREAM
