One musician, different musical spaces

I'm Jon Magnusson, a composer, arranger and producer. My work ranges from original pieces and classical arrangements to folk, jazz, rock and music for quieter moments. Different artist names give these parts of my work their own setting and a clear place for listeners to begin.

Under my own name, I bring together my compositions and arrangements. Fantasy of the Loon Pond for Harp, Op. 1, released with Kerstin Viola, offers one starting point. Across the wider catalogue, the music also includes interpretations of existing repertoire and recordings made with other contributors.

Juan Monreal and Maria Kruse belong to the family and lullaby side of this work, connected through Somnia Lullabies. Other projects follow different musical directions. This website brings those paths together while giving each project room for its own repertoire, sound and story.
