The project
Beyond the Seasons is Jon Magnusson's project for music at the meeting point of jazz and psychedelic rock. Its catalogue brings together instrumental compositions, arrangements and collaborations, with rhythmic interplay and changing instrumental colours.
Make It Right explores psychedelic jazz fusion. Cordilleras, a collaboration with trumpeter Sebastian Aguirre, draws on Jon's travels in the South American Andes. The recordings offer two starting points for the project without defining the whole catalogue by a single mood.
