The project
Papijon is Jon Magnusson's project for original children's songs in Swedish, English and Spanish. It began with rhymes and melodies he made up while playing with his child.
The songs accompany movement and everyday activities, from jumping and turning to brushing teeth. Their musical settings include folk guitar, Latin rhythms, piano ballads, country and reggae.

Writing songs across three languages
Jon writes the songs and developed most of them in more than one language. The three collections have their own track lists, rather than being identical translations of every song.
